- Orthodontic Resident Case Display -
AAO Annual Session- Philadelphia, April 25-27, 2025
AAO Case Display Chair: Councilor Dr. Nipul Tanna
1) Cases should have been treated within last 5 years.
2) Treatment should be completed by one resident and/or a second resident who got the patient transferred to him or her. These “transfer” cases should have a letter from the faculty confirming that the cases were treated by the residents.
3) Case models must must follow the ABO standards to be either plaster or 3-D printed and paperwork included in a 3 ring binder with a cover sheet (Cover Sheet Link and you can also request it via email at info@cdabo.org). 4) All patient identifying information must be redacted.
5) All Case Displays must be picked up by 4pm on Sunday, 4/27/25.
A Residency program can submit a maximum TWO cases, for 2025
One case with DI of 10-19 and the second case with DI of 20 or greater
There will be first, second, and third awards in each of the three case categories. See 2025 Case Display Scoring Sheet Link to set your residents up for success.
Winning residents and the program faculty will be recognized during the CDABO membership reception on Saturday afternoon during the annual AAO meeting. Invitations will be texted to the faculty member or program director onsite at AAO.
