ABO ReCertification Prep Course for the Board Case Exam (BCE)

Wednesday, 2/4/26, at 7pm CST to 8pm CST via Zoom

With 61% of all orthodontists now board-certified, the College, as of 2024, offers an ABO ReCert Prep Course for those interested in the taking the Board Case Exam (BCE) as part of their recertification process.

Learning objectives are as follows:

1. Understand when one is eligible for the ABO renewal and pathways to recertify.

2. Gain information on the BCE format and steps to complete this recertification pathway.

3. Review key information and articles that BCE questions are drawn from.

You will receive the Zoom link along with a reminder 1 week prior to the course and right after the course you will receive the ReCert Prep Course deck along with the AJO-DO CE Fee Waiver instructions. This online course will start promptly at 7pm CST so please join early.

This course is free to all members and a $235 fee for non-members. Please email Mindy at info@cdabo.org to become a member.

Dr. Jane C. Wright

Dr. Jane Wright is a Board Certified Orthodontist practicing at Crawford and Wright Orthodontics with her father. She has her BS in Nutrition Science from the University of Minnesota, her DDS and MS in Oral Biology and Orthodontic Certificate from Marquette University. She has published a children's book called The Capture of Clementine that teaches proper brushing, flossing and nutrition and has published in the Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry on tooth size and agenesis. Dr. Wright is an adjunct professor in the Orthodontic Department. Dr. Wright is an active member of the Kenosha Dental Society, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics and American Association of Orthodontics.

Dr. Wright has served, since 2013, as a year-round adjunct professor at Marquette University School of Dentistry in the Orthodontic department and an orthodontic clinical instructor. She hosts the residents in the office for on-site shadowing and mentors during residency and after graduation. Dr. Wright is a huge proponent of mentorship.
